About Colonial America Shirts
Colonial America begins with the settlements at Jamestown in 1607 and Plymouth in 1620 and runs to the eve of independence, a period in which thirteen British colonies grew along the Atlantic coast. Its history includes farmers, merchants, craftspeople, enslaved people, Native nations and the early debates about self-government.
Shirts in this collection draw on the look and language of that period. See also American Revolution, Founding Fathers and Historic American Flags.
