Size & Fit

Shirts differ in cut and softness, so we describe each one by how it fits and feels. Use this guide together with the size information on each product page.

Shirt Fit & Feel

Choosing your size

  • Measure a shirt you already own and like: lay it flat and measure across the chest just under the sleeves, and from the collar seam to the bottom hem.
  • Compare those numbers with the measurements on the product page.
  • If you are between sizes, choose the smaller for a closer fit or the larger for a looser, more relaxed fit.
  • Sizing varies between shirt styles, so always check the product page for the style you are buying.

Soft & Light Tee or Classic Relaxed Tee

  • Soft & Light Tee: soft hand, smoother drape, modern and slimmer silhouette, less bulky. Unisex.
  • Classic Relaxed Tee: traditional T-shirt shape, roomier body, more structured feel. Unisex.
  • The base garment (manufacturer and model) is listed as secondary garment detail on each product page.

Fit terms

  • Soft & Light: a smoother, slimmer, modern cut.
  • Classic Relaxed: the traditional T-shirt shape with a roomier body.
  • Vintage Relaxed: a relaxed cut with a garment-dyed, lived-in look.
  • Women’s Fitted: cut to fit closer through the body and sized for women.

Feel terms

  • Ultra Soft / Soft: smoother, softer fabric feel.
  • Garment-Dyed: dyed after the shirt is sewn, which gives a softer, lived-in, slightly faded look.
  • Structured: firmer fabric that holds its shape.

Weight

  • Lightweight, Midweight and Heavyweight compare shirts with one another. Heavier shirts feel more substantial; lighter shirts feel more airy.
