About Westward Expansion Shirts

Westward Expansion covers the nineteenth-century movement of Americans across the continent, from the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1804 to 1806 through the Homestead Act of 1862 and the completion of the transcontinental railroad in 1869. It was a period of opportunity for some and of loss for the Native nations whose lands were taken.

This collection is for people drawn to the frontier era. See also American Pioneers, Rural America and American History.
