About Tank Crew Shirts
A tank is worked by a small crew, typically four or five people depending on the vehicle, who live, work and depend on one another in tight quarters. That closeness shapes how armor veterans talk about their service.
Armor crews work with the vehicle every day: driving, loading, aiming and maintaining it. Veterans of those crews often describe the tank as a fifth or sixth member of the team.
