About WWI Veteran Shirts

The United States entered World War I in April 1917 and the fighting ended with the Armistice on November 11, 1918, the date that later became Veterans Day. Roughly four million Americans served in uniform. The last American veterans of the war have died, so most people buying here are descendants, historians and collectors honoring a grandparent or great-grandparent.

Browse the neighboring eras of WWII Veterans and Earlier American Conflicts, or see Veteran Great-Grandparents for designs that honor the generation that served a century ago. These are civilian tribute designs, not official military merchandise, and none is endorsed by the U.S. government or any branch of the Armed Forces.
